Thank you Intimate Weddings for writing this post on this wonderful bite-size brownie idea. I had to share it with my readers!

{images & recipe: intimate weddings, pan: wilton}

Here is how to do it!

1. Purchase all sorts of decorations, maybe stuck to just the color palette you are having for you event. Your favorite kind of chocolate that you want to melt {white, dark, milk} & don’t forget the cookie sticks!

2. Purchase your favorite brownie mix or use the following recipe:

Barb’s  Brownies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1/2 cup butter (I use salted butter.)

2 scant cups brown sugar

2 eggs

1 cup flour

5 dessert spoons cocoa

1 tsp vanilla

Cream butter and add sugar. Cream well. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Add salt and vanilla. Mix in flour and cocoa.

3.  Spray mold with vegetable oil & fill 2/3 the way up.

4. Bake for 30 minutes @ 350 degrees. But check to make sure they aren’t burning. Wilton states 15-20 minutes. Stick a toothpick inside & see if it comes clean after 15 minutes & gauge.

5. Once done, please them on a rack to cool. While that’s getting done, melt your chocolate & prepare the decorations in little dishes to create an assembly line. Cut your sticks to the appropriate size if needed.

6. Once cool, dip a stick into chocolate and then insert it in the middle of the brownie bite {make sure you don’t poke through the other end}. Then dip the bite into your favorite chocolate flavor & decorations!

It’s that simple & I definitely plan on making these for the next house party I plan on throwing.

Ideas for presentation:

  • Fill a jar with your favorite candy, or preferred candy & stick them inside & place on the table.
  • A simple plate sprinkled with one of the decorations you used & place the brownie bites facing down {sticks up} on the plate.
  • Buy clear favor bags and place 3 bites per bag & tie with your favorite ribbon as a favor or as a giveaway for your party.

Thanks again Intimate Weddings for the wonderful idea…And for any readers who need more insight to the process, please visit their site for a more detailed explanation.

  1. If you don’t have the brownie pop molds, just make the brownies in a square pan. You will love them. This my mother in law’s brownie recipe and it’s sooooo easy!

  2. wow these are just so cute! I love your site.
